Our mission
Tumen River Vocational School was founded on the belief that every youngster, with the proper technical skills, character cultivation, and guidance, can take charge of his or her own future.
TRVS recaptures the neglected and often misguided Chosunjok youth of the Chinese-North Korean border region and gives them a second chance at regaining their footing in society. It teaches skills that broaden job prospects, and it cultivates well-rounded citizens by instilling the values of self-confidence, hard work, discipline, patience, purpose, and respect for self and others.
