On the way to the cafeteria on any given day, you are likely to find a TRVS student or staff member getting serviced in the beauty salon.
Cosmetology majors spend two years perfecting the hands-on art of hairstyling, often demonstrating their skills on much-willing friends and teachers. Primary areas of instruction include cuts, coloring, perms, and styling for special events.
Graduates from just this past year have moved on to a Korean-owned salon in the large metropolis of Kunming, China. This year, 5 third-year stylists and 9 budding second-years have made the cut into the department.
