Sports Day was held on May 30, 2008. Once every year, one school invites another school to their home turf to play games. This year, the games were held at TRVS and it was the fifth year. Sports Day started with a goodwill and friendly competition between the Wang Pung Jung Chun Vocation School and Tumen River Vocational School. It rained so the opening ceremony was held inside the auditorium on the fifth floor. A welcoming speech was given by TRVS principal Mr. Peter Hahn and a formal reply was made by Wang Pung Jung Chun principal Mr. Ung Kyo Chun. Players made a pledge to each other for good sportsmanship.
Games began with chicken fighting, arm wrestling, tug of war, balloon toss and shuttlecock game with feet. After lunch, boys from both schools played a soccer match in miserable conditions because of the rain. The students enjoyed Sports Day and the two schools shared an exuberant day.
