TRVS Profile
TRVS is a three-year academic program that covers both a core curriculum and specialized courses. It is registered with the Tumen City Board of Education and the Chinese government. The core curriculum emphasizes computer skills, Korean, Chinese, and basic English, and it also covers history, ethics, geography, music, and physical education.
Students, ages 16-24, are all of the ethnic Korean Chinese (Chosunjok) minority.
All courses are instructed in Korean, with the exception of Chinese language and English conversation courses.
2006-2007 school year: 131 students total in 6 classes (2 classes per grade)
86 students, or two-thirds, live in the school dormitory on site.
